We are looking for a Children and Young People’s Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Patient Services team.
Title: Children and Young People’s Clinical Nurse Specialist
Salary: Band 7 AfC
Contract: 2 year Secondment, full time
Hours: 35hrs per week split between Anthony Nolan and Transplant Centre
Location: Hybrid (with head office in Hampstead, London and Transplant Centre)
Job Summary
As part of the Patient Services clinical team, you will work with the Lead Nurse to drive the growth and success of the Anthony Nolan patient support services, across Stem Cell Transplantation (SCT) and Cellular Therapies (CT) in the UK.
You will work with Patient Services colleagues and wider Anthony Nolan teams, to scope the diverse needs of Children and Young People undergoing SCT and CAR-T treatments with the aim of developing, age appropriate patient information and support resources. This may include resources for CYP who are undergoing treatment, receiving late effects care or in transition to adult services.
The role will also contribute to the development of professional development to enhance the expert knowledge base of health care professionals working in paediatric stem cell transplant and cellular therapy specialties.
Working with Anthony Nolan teams, key stakeholders within the NHS, charity and commercial sectors, you will have the opportunity to influence and develop the delivery of best practice to positively impact on patient experience.
