We want to give Marrow Alumni members as many opportunities as possible to keep having an impact for Anthony Nolan, be it through Marrow groups, Anthony Nolan events or self-organised activities.
As Opportunities Coordinator for the NHS you will be responsible for helping to make this happen! What the role involves:
• Work with Anthony Nolan and National Marrow to advertise and identify future Alumni that will be working within the NHS in all roles.
• Identify opportunities where Alumni can support current or incoming Alumni in NHS roles e.g. interview practice, portfolio checks and careers advice
• Work with AN staff to ensure that the right documents and processes are in place to formally recognise Marrow and Alumni volunteering, including portfolio evidence for specialty training applications
• Use Anthony Nolan contacts, social media, and other means to find opportunities for Alumni that work in the NHS e.g. supporting at donor recruitment, running recruitment within hospitals and the community
• Work with AN staff to provide guidance as to how NHS Alumni can get involved in Anthony Nolan volunteering opportunities Work with the Communications Coordinator to advertise this new role and identify opportunities in line with the other Opportunities Coordinator
• Work with the Communications Co-ordinator to celebrate Marrow Alumni activity.
• Support the rest of the Marrow Alumni Committee in their activities.
• Working as a committee and contributing to the planning of events eg training at conferences, social activities etc
